Programme Guide
Although Tony Hancock was not to appear at the Adelphi Theatre for some months, the management relented and allowed him to
fulfil his radio work. Thus, he returned to this fourth show in the series.
This show is taken up in the handover from Harry to Tony. Hancock, once more in harness, is persuaded by Bill and Andrée to go to Wales. Once there, he can find Harry and thank him for helping out. So, they journey to Swansea and finally track Harry down in the valleys, where Hancock can thank him.
The disruption to this second series did not have any adverse long term effect on "Hancock's Half Hour". However, the cast changes meant that it was not until the fifth show, "The Holiday Camp", - nearly halfway through the series - that the team could return to the form intended.
