New Tony Hancock Book

One of our Members, L.M. Evans has written Tony Hancock The Bournemouth Connection which was published on 30th November.

L. M. Evans has brought out this new biography of Tony Hancock in order to explore the link between the person and his environment and how the experiences he underwent in his adopted home town and the people he met there, helped to shape him into the entertainer he became.

In this manner, the book is not only about show business but combines social history and geography which the author hopes will be seen as an appropriate guide to the man and to the town itself thus re-interpreting the Hancock story for all generations.

Containing over 100 illustrations, nearly 60 of which have been photographed by the author, "Tony Hancock - The Bournemouth Connection" will be published by Natula Publications. Priced at £17.50, it is available from Amazon shortly  here.

Alternatively, it can be ordered from the Natula Publications website here priced £10.00 plus £8.99 P&P.
