Throughout 1953, Tony continued to appear in 'London Laughs' Tony's last show was on 6.12.53.  From 7.12.53, Tony Hancock was replaced by Tommy Cooper until the show finished on 6.2.54.

Throughout 1955, Tony continued to appear in 'The Talk of the Town' other than 25.4.55 - June 55 when Hancock was replaced by first Bonar Colleano and then by Dave King.  Also, Hancock was replaced by Maria Pavolou from 22.8.55 - 25.8.55.  Tony's last show was on 31.10.55 when Hancock was replaced by Dave King until the show finished on 10.12.55.
