Tony Hancock and Charlie Chester took over from Ted Ray as co-comperes of the show on Easter Monday, 14-4-52. Hancock usually worked with the musical guest in each show and performed a sketch with the main guest. Also, Hancock would perform a sketch with Charlie Chester and a supporting
