Transmission : Sundays, 2100-2200, weekly, BBC Light Programme. Odd numbered shows repeated Saturdays at 1155, BBC Home Service. Even numbered shows were not repeated. Show number 21 was the last in the series. It was replaced by "Top of the Town" which ran until February 1954, when the second series of "Star Bill" began.
Regular team : Tony Hancock, Graham Stark and Geraldine McEwan; The George Mitchell Glee Club, and Stanley Black and his Concert Orchestra (except nos. 1,4,8 & 9). From the 10th programme (9-8-53) until the end of the series, Tony Hancock was replaced by Alfred Marks in the regular team, although Hancock did make a guest appearance in show number 21, as detailed above.
